COVID-19 CONCERNS


We are in a unique situation to help you and your loved ones if you become ill and we want you to know the steps we are taking to keep you safe.

If you're like us, you are getting tired of hearing the name COVID-19.  It's uprooted our lives, changed our routines, and left us in a sense of unbalance.  However, we want to convey these quick points to our customers and friends.

- We are a small business.  Lots of people do not handle your food.  On our busiest day, we have four employees in the kitchen.

- Every employee has been instructed at the first sign of illness, stay home.  Nobody is "asked" or "forced" to show up for work.  We will close the doors if we run out of staff.

- It is already our common practice, we sanitize after every shift as well as do deep cleaning once a week.

- Hair nets and gloves are always worn.

- We are in good standing with the Posey County Health Department (0 violations to date) and are reaching out to see if there is anything else they recommend us doing as a precaution.

- We deliver!  If for any reason you are in need of healthy, fresh food delivered to your home, we are there!  If you are ill, we can sit it at your door.
We love serving the Tri-State and are honored you choose us to serve you.  Stay healthy and safe.


NO-CONTACT DELIVERY

We would like to share a quick note about our delivery drivers. We serve a lot of different populations. These are a few measures we taking to keep you safe:
- As much as we love chatting with you and hearing your stories (we do!), we are not going to be hanging out out. We will keep a distance. 
- Your orders will be sat at your door instead of handed to you. The driver will be wearing gloves and/or utilizing sanitation gel. 
- At each of our pick-up locations, we will be washing our hands before exiting. 
These measures may seem extreme, but we love our customers. We would rather do this now so that you can be assured we are doing everything we can. Hopefully sometime soon, we will be swapping stories on your front stoop again.

WHERE CAN I FIND SIMPLY PREPPED MEALS?
Currently, we serve the Evansville, IN Tri-State area delivering as far as and Henderson, KY,.  We offer pick-up from our kitchen location (11330 Water Tank Rd., Cynthiana, IN) or delivery to your front door.  We also are available at the Downtown Evansville and Dunigan YMCA's  7 days a week.  Protein balls available at Optimum Wellness Pharmacy in Newburgh.

WHERE ARE THE MEALS MADE?
We have a commercial kitchen that is inspected by the local health department.  We are located at 11330 Water Tank Rd.  Cynthiana, IN.  All meals are prepared fresh each week by our staff.  We follow the same guidelines as your favorite restaurant. 

WHO ARE YOUR MEALS FOR?
Simply Prepped Meals truly has an answer for everyone's unique nutritional time crunch.  Currently, we are serving anyone who would benefit from a steady, whole foods based diet for weight loss or health needs as well as busy families who want a nutritious dinner ready to go after a day full of work and school.  Busy professionals find our service to be a huge time saver for their hectic schedules.  

SO, HOW DOES THIS WORK?

Order what ever you'd like and the quantity.

DO I HAVE TO BUY A PLAN?
No.  You have the option, but you may also choose individually and pay as you go so you get exactly what you want, when you want.  

​SOUNDS AMAZING.  HOW MUCH DOES THIS COST?
​An average meal is about $8.25.  This can vary if you customize it.

DO YOU OFFER PICK UP OR DELIVERY?
Yes. Currently, we are delivering on Wednesdays 430-800 pm and Pick up at our kitchen located at 11330 Water Tank Road, Cynthiana, IN from 5-7 pm as well as Nutrition HQ and Profile by Sandford, West.

HOW IS THE VARIETY OF FOOD?
Our variety is possibly one of our best traits. Each week, we offer a new menu with a rotation of 5 entrees and 1 Breakfast.  Each menu is posted and emailed Saturday.

IS YOUR NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION POSTED?
We are working on making sure each meal has it's nutritional information listed with it.

WHAT ABOUT IF THERE IS FOOD I JUST HATE/ALLERGIES?
That's perfectly fine. Simply tell us what your allergies are or foods you strongly dislike and we will note that in your preferences and do our best to keep it out of your box each week. We do recommend, however, that you limit your preferences to only serious food issues as it may have a negative effect on your variety each week.  If you have a serious allergy, please note, *we are not screened as peanut/gluten/egg free*.  We can do our best to keep these items out of your meals, however, we urge you to use caution depending on your allergy as we can not guarantee cross contamination.

CAN I CHOOSE MY MEALS?
​Of course!  Get as many and as much of what you'd like every time.


I ORDERED.  NOW WHAT?

ARE THE MEALS FROZEN?  
No.  They will arrive fresh to allow you to choose which in enjoy first. 

HOW DO I STORE MY FOOD?
Regardless of your plan choice, we recommend storing half of your meals in the freezer and the other half in the refrigerator to ‘slack’.  SPM products are devoid of preservatives. However, this means that our food won’t have quite the same ‘staying power’ as traditional, ready-to-eat meals. Once one day’s worth of meals has been removed or consumed, take a day’s worth of meals from your freezer and place them into the fridge to thaw. 

HOW DO I HEAT MY FOOD?
There are actually a wide array of options for reheating our dishes. All our packages are 100% recyclable, BPA-free, dishwasher safe.  Traditionally, most people choose to use the microwave.  However,  you could easily transfer the food to a skillet or oven dish to heat in your range at home.

WHAT DO I DO WITH MY CONTAINERS?
While we would love to take them back and reuse them, that isn’t exactly food safe. They are 100% recyclable as is all of our packaging.
